Product Information for Medium Leather Bound Journal
This rich brown leather bound journal is just the right size to carry around in your bag or briefcase. These luxurious classic handmade medium leather notebooks have been handcrafted using traditional leather craftwork and book binding skills.
Each contains 120 pages (240 sides) pages of handmade paper made from recycled cotton, which creates a unique texture that is suitable for most pen types (not fountain pens) and sketching.
Handmade from tough wearing leather, dyed a rich tan brown, giving it an antique look and feel. The leather cover has then been hand polished or embossed with small simple hand tooled patterns.
These great value handmade medium leather notebooks / journals can be used as a diaries, journals, as sketchbooks, writing down recipes, collecting poems, they make a great place to record an exotic or unusual holiday with memories, photos, mementoes and souvenirs.

The notebook arrived on time and was exactly what it looked like in the picture, a real leather beautifully bound notebook. The only problem i had was tying the leather band back around the book to keep it shut. All in all a very good purchace, they even sent a complimentary mini notebook !

This notebook is better in real life than I imagined from the photo. I bought it as a notebook for my recipes and it is absolutely perfect. I was browsing the Internet looking for Leather Journals. I could not find what I was looking for. I was starting to get downhearted and about to give up. I received my journal this morning (tue) after ordering on friday afternoon and am very impressed with the speed of the delivery. The book is beautifully deigned and the paper is a pleasure to write on. What's fantastic about it is its weight. I found it to be much lighter than I expected.. Also the size...absolutely perfect. My one weakess is leather journals and have bought many in the past, all much more expensive. But I found this one to be of the same superior quality at a quarter of the price! I bought 2 small bound notebooks (one for myself and one as a gift to a close friend) off of scaramanga a little while ago. Within a week they arrived and I couldnt be happier with both of them. The girl i bought the notebook for is a writer and uses it constantly. I'm an artist and the paper quality is perfect for ink and pencil (1st paper i've seen that really properly soaks it up and takes every line) It's easy to carry around, fits into a coat pocket, and is sturdy enough to be held in one hand and drawn on with the other. Quality is top notch, Sewn Leather binding and covers with gorgeous paper. I've had mine for close to 6 months now, taking it on travels during my gapyear, and it has held up where other pads of dissintigrated. Brilliant little books!
