A completely unique vintage desk for your home.
This unique Scaramanga Iroko vintage desk has had an interesting upcycled journey. Once upon a time, in a school laboratory in Enfield, north London, there were naughty school children doing science...scratching and scribbling their names and love hearts on their hardwood lab table-tops when the teacher wasn't looking. Not to mention the chewing gum we sometimes find underneath.
Scaramanga sourced a stack of school science lab table-tops and are offering them as super stylish upcycled tables for your home. We can't think of a room where these fancy tables won't fit - bedroom, children's room, office space, hallway...the choice is yours.
The robust triple-rod steel legs are spot welded and laser cut. The West African Iroko tops have been plained, sanded and waxed by us to offer you a high-quality surface finish which still retains its highly characteristic school-history. You can still see the names, burns, scratches, marks and other graffiti on some tabletops - making this iroko table a wonderful conversation piece. We have only taken the worst off the surface and not completely removed the years of character!
We securely package and ship this table in a flat-pack format (with pre-drilled holes) - the four legs are dismantled and supplied with a set of fastening screws. All you need is a screwdriver.
Iroko vintage desk size: W120cm x D60cm x H74cm.
Why not complement this table with other Scaramanga products - perhaps a vintage chair to complete the look?
There will be some assembly required. The 4 legs will need to be attached to the top with 4 screws (supplied by us). Don't worry it's a simple job.
