We pleased to offer a set of 10 authentic vintage wooden brick moulds that would make creative storage boxes.
This style of tropical hardwood brick moulds once used for making mud or adobe bricks feature an internal logo...to show the maker's mark.
Today these chunky, solid hardwood and iron moulds make great storage wooden storage boxes.
Of course with the advent of mechanisation, cement and concrete use of moulds like these has almost ceased. However, small-scale rural enterprises can still be found making bricks in parts of Africa and India. Some brick moulds have wooden, composite or plastic inserts with the maker's name or initials. Several have no maker's mark. Please let us know if you have a preference.
Size: W30cm x D15cm x H9cm (sizes vary slightly).
The 10 we send will vary in colour and makers' name. Some of the maker's name plates are made from a composite plastic material. An order for 10 will include a mix of wooden and composite maker's names.
Our vintage brick moulds are not new or made to look old. They will small marks and scratches on them, which are consistent with their age and original use. We feel these add to their character and appeal.
