A superb vintage jewellery maker's bench chest is a stunning Scaramanga find.
This historical wood and metal item would make a wonderful feature in a bedroom, living room, bathroom or a study. The wood and metal detailing is an excellent example of the high level of handcraftsmanship.
The lid lifts to reveal a top level with multiple compartments of varying sizes. Below the trays is a single large chamber for storing your treasures. There is a slim-line lower drawer.
Interestingly, mobile Indian jewellery maker-sellers would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for making, selling and repairing their wares.
Size: W54cm x D40cm x H28cm.
The locking device is not operational (key not included).
Scaramanga chests, trunks, coffers and boxes are not new or made to look old. They may have small marks and scratches on them, which are consistent with their age and original use. We feel these add to their character and appeal.
