The 'tiger-eye' wood grain pattern of this vintage Japanese chest of drawers is clearly striking. It takes a high level of woodwork craftsmanship to achieve this standard of beauty. We have left this cabinet as we found it with it's Wabi Sabi - perfectly imperfect - timrorn woodwork.
Featuring great proportions and metal drop handles, this cabinet is a flexible cabinet suitable for a home office, bedroom or living room. Scaramanga would recommend this piece as a jewellery or memory box.
This is an old piece of furniture - from the 1940-50s. Its surface patina is distinctive. We particularly like the distressed area around the upper handle which has a evolve from decades of opening and closing the drawer. Its many surface imperfections of this vintage item give it a wonderful rustic charm.
Be the next careful owner of this pre-owned cabinet.
