This monstrously large metal fire bowl is upcycled from an old traditional Indian cooking pot called a Kadai Bowl. Originally these large pots were used for communal cooking in Northern India and can still be seen used for large and very hungry wedding parties. They are super heavy...and of course, built to last!
Fire pits are a great social hub, why not consider one for this Spring and Summer? Imagine a group of your family and friends gathered around one of these distinctive garden features.
Metal Kadai Fire Bowl (X Large) size: Diameter 130cm x H47cm (height with handles 59cm).
Don't you just love the heavy-duty thickness of metal and rivet detailing? The convenient handles making it relatively simple for two people to shift it around a garden area or outdoor space. We have 2 fire bowls that are similar in size and weight. The one we send you may not look exactly the same as the one shown in the photo.
This huge cooking pot is an original antique pot made by members from the Lohar community in north-western India. They are not lower quality reproductions that are now commonly mistaken for these handcrafted originals.
