Weddings are wonderful (but very stressful) occasions, and one thing that often gets forgotten about in the excitement is the decor. Most venues will supply basic furniture, but how can you make your wedding decor stand out and be memorable? Here at Scaramanga, we have some suggestions on what authentic vintage pieces you can use to ensure that your wedding will be remembered for all the right reasons.
Seating
Our vintage tables and chairs would make the perfect seating for a DIY wedding and takes some of the stress out of sourcing furniture to fill your venue. They would be perfect for banquet style seating in a converted barn. Our beautifully rustic vintage folding tables are easy to put up and store, and can be folded away quickly when your wedding moves on from feasting to dancing. These tables were actually used at many Indian weddings before we sourced them. They come in
blue and
red.
Our vintage metal folding chairs make the perfect companion to our folding tables. Again, these can easily be opened out or folded away, depending on what stage your wedding is at. We have lots of different colours available to choose from! Colours that are currently available are

black.
Vintage Suitcases
Suitcases add a lovely, vintage feel to any wedding decor, and can be incorporated into your wedding in all sorts of creative ways. They can be stacked up while closed to create a wonderful display or can be opened up to be used as storage. They make the perfect holder for favours, cards or anything else you can think of! Vintage Trunks, Chests and Boxes
Like our suitcases, our
old metal travel trunks and
vintage wooden chests, trunks and boxes make an effective vessel for display or storage. Our trunks would also make ideal seating for photos, or just for any attendees who fancy a rest!
Our
wooden crates would also make ideal open storage for any wedding necessities, or a great alternative centrepiece. One of our colourful
soda crates would be an excellent way to store glasses or drinks on tables. There are plenty to choose from, but we think our
Thums Up crates are the perfect retro addition.
One of our
larger wooden chests with an open compartment would make an ideal place to store a wedding dress after the big day! Keep it safe by adding one of our
antique and old padlocks in brass or iron to your chest.
Soft Furnishings
Our beautiful
