Beautiful rich red brown leather photo album, which has been meticulously handcrafted using traditional leather craftwork and book binding skills.
The leather cover has been rubbed with vegetable based dyes to give it a lovely deep red/brown antique leather book patina. The leather cover has then been finished with small simple hand tooled embossed patterns.
Each leather photo album contains 40 pages (80 sides) of handmade paper made from recycled cotton, which creates a unique luxurious texture. Each page has been interleaved with protective tissue paper.
There are no pocket sleeves so you can place your photos anywhere and stick in other items like mementos or write labels and descriptions. You just need photo corners, photo mounts, sticky dots or spray photo adhesive.
Our photo albums could also be used as scrapbooks, keepsake books or baby journals.
The leather photo albums will hold 240 6" x 4" photos.
Choose between white or black handmade paper.
Large leather photo album size: 35cm x 26 x 3 (14" x 10.5" x 1"). Sizes are likely to differ slightly from journal to journal as they are individually cut and handmade
Note: All our photo albums contain handmade paper, which may contain flower petals or other natural fibres. The embossed / tooled leather finish will vary from album to album. If you would like a particular embossed design please contact us.

A truly superb photo album! I wanted an album with a genuine feeling for my pictures from a couple of ancient greek archaeological sites and this was just what I was looking for. The leather is really beautiful (and smells nice!), and the paper too! I'm glad to have found Scaramanga!

Great service - this was a very successful second choice as the beige leather album was not in stock. The embossed stitched detail is fine and the leather smells good - excellent choice for pictures from exotic parts - good choice for a gift as it is a bit different with its detail and ties. This is a good value product if you like photos mounted on hand made paper -I think black paper is cool -really great for black and white photos.
