We have made them for people who want to sketch, draw or use fountain pens. Each leather sketchbook has been handcrafted using traditional leather craftwork and book binding skills.
Each contains 120 pages (240 sides) of heavyweight off-white paper making them ideal for artists and designers.
They could also be used as a diaries, work or travel journals, creative sketchbooks or as memory books.
The tan embossed / tooled extra leather large notebook is now available with a mini padlock and keys. So you can keep all your writing and drawings secret!
Available in a range of colours: embossed tan, green, and black.
Scaramanga's dark brown leather sketchbooks are also available with a mini padlock so you can keep your masterpieces under lock and key for an extra £1.50
Extra large embossed / tooled leather notebook / journal: 26cm x 19 x 4 (10.5”x 7.5” x 1.5”) - receive a free mini leather journal when you buy this notebook.
Note: The tan colour is only available in an embossed / tooled finish and the embossing finish on the cover of our leather journals will vary from notebook to notebook and may not be the same as shown in the pictures.

I wanted a beautiful book to keep a creative sketch book/journal, and this is perfect in every way. The colour is rich and sensual. The paper is tactile and very high quality. The way the book is bound is a work of art in itself and allows me to stick in various things without making the book unwieldy. The leather of the cover feels natural and luxurious. What more could anyone desire?
This was a beautiful item which fully exceeded expectations. The quality is second to none. The customer service was the best Ive had through online purchasing. I had a personal phone call to ensure I got my product on time as they were out of stock for a few days. They even asked me what kind of 'look' I wanted the leatherware ie worn or new. My musician friend who was lucky enough to recieve it (!) was so so pleased it was exactly the kind of notebook he wanted. Lets hope he becomes famous enough one day and writes some classic songs in it!!
You were brilliantly priced as all the note books i had seen in the shops were very highly priced and the fact that i orderd it on the 4th meant i recieved a smaller note book and a pen free. Absolutely fantastic!!

I wanted a note book for a friend who is a keen play write. i Wanted something good quality and had class reather than being pretentious. When I opened the package i was not at disapointed. It looked better than in the picture and i was surprised as this leather book was the cheepest i could find on the internet.

I ordered books for presents but must confess I have kept one for myself. They came very promptly and my friends have been delighted with them. So am I. The paper is lovely and they feel beautiful. I like the way they open properly so that you can really write in them even though they are thick. I shall certainly buy them again.

I wanted a special journal-type notebook to record recipies / musings / notes / photographs etc in and I wanted it to be hardwearing as I want to pass it on to my children as a kind of heirloom. I had been searching for a while for a nice, sumptuous looking journal to record my thoughts in. When I first seen this one I wasn't totally convinced that it was what I was looking for. But I ordered a Tan Coloured one. I am glad I did. The handmade construction adds to the overall charm of this product. It is a great pleasure to write in. Anyone looking for something to record their thoughts in, or just a posh book then this is the product for you.
