Scaramanga’s iconic satchel is styled on the classic brown leather school satchel. Our slender medium retro satchels are ideal for girls who want a practical but stylish leather bag with space for all their day-to-day stuff without looking bulky.
Our leather satchels are sturdy enough to hold smaller laptops / Macbook pros or A4 documents. Versatile enough to be used as a small overnight bag, travel bag or a college book bag.
Each leather satchel has a fabulous antique leather finish, so you don’t have to wait ages for that vintage leather look and feel.

Under the flap is the main compartment large enough to hold most small and medium laptops or an A4 file or folder. There is a long zipped pocket on the front of the bag under the flap and two further pockets inside the bag.

Please bear in mind that each leather satchel is a totally natural product therefore the colours and the finish can vary from one piece to the next. Each has a unique antique leather / lightly distressed vintage leather look. Parts from several hides may be used to make a single Scaramanga leather bag. So there may be some variation in colour and the textures to the different parts of a bag, which will create a wonderfully unique effect. There may be significant variances in texture and shading, which is individual to each bag. Natural lines and marks in the leather are left fully exposed. These features go to show the genuine origin of our leather satchels and messengers bags, they form part of the bag and not affect its durability. Our leather bags are handmade and your new leather bag may be subject to natural variation in its size. All this simply enhances the unique appearance of your bag and adds extra character.

I *love* this bag - As soon as it arrived I knew I'd made the right decision - the quality of the product is very high, and it's so well designed - the inner pockets are great for separating items out and making them easy to find, and the adjustability of the strap is so useful. The ordering service was quick and efficient and I'd definately buy from scaramanga again. I use this bag every day and after 9 months of constant use, it's still looking wonderful. My item arrived incredibly quickly. In fact withing two days. The quality of the leather satchel is excellent. Although I bought it for myself my friend loved it so much I gave it to her for a birthday present. I also ordered a large leather diary which similarly was of an excellent quality. I can fit an A4 folder A4 pad of paper drinks bottle and sandwiches into the main compartment of my medium-sized satchel, plus the zip pocket under the front flap is handy for my phone and wallet. A great bag all round :) cheers Scaramangal!
Love the bag. Wouldn't go to work without it. I can fit in everything that I need to take to work. The zipped pockets are excellent. Very useful to take out train passes and work i.d.s.
Great site i was looking for a leather satchel for a long time and these were the most reasonably priced! Lots of room for my stuff. Lovely authentic leather smell. Highly recommended i use it everyday.
Great for girls who that want a practical but stylish sensible sized bag for all the junk we seem to carry about. Bought this for a friend but think I might get one for myself as well. Delivery was very speedy especially given it was Christmas and Scaramanga were really helpful.

Have just received the medium satchel bag within two days of ordering it - fantastic service! The bag is heavenly; beautifully made and far exceeds my expectations. It swallows up my day-to-day necessities without looking clumpy. Also fantastic to use on my cycle commute to the station. Well done Scaramanga! I adore this bag. I originally bought it for traveling, but when it came I was without a school bag. I employed it for a time, using folders and spiral notebooks, and I am very pleased to say that it worked wonderfully. The best leather bag that I've ever used. Also, the shipping went very quickly.
