Product Information for Large Overlander Leather Bag

Scaramanga’s new versatile leather Overlander bag is inspired by the iconic black leather pilot’s case. The Overlander combines the spaciousness of a pilot’s case with the retro style of our best selling vintage leather satchels. The Overlander leather bag can be used as a work bag, leather travel bag, a leather laptop bag, for going out and shopping, or as a university or college book bag. So now you can have one bag for so many uses; it's time to ditch that black synthetic laptop bag for a versatile handmade vintage leather satchel. 

Our current stock has a 'distressed' leather  finish, which means there is likely to be light stratches and some variation in the colour and shading of the colour of different parts of the bag.

In addition to the huge main compartment (15cm / 6” deep), which is perfect for carrying a laptop as well as books and clothes, there is an expandable 6cm (2.5”) front compartment ideal for paperwork, notes or a newspaper, and a zipped front compartment. The leather satchel style bag also has a small front pocket ideal for a mobile, i-Pod, Blackberry or wallet/purse.

Each bag has been handmade and features strong double stitching and a tough canvas lining as well as an adjustable super wide comfortable 62” shoulder strap.

Suitable for most 17" laptops and NetBook Pros. We strongly recommend using a 17" protective neoprene sleeve - such as those sold by Belkin.

Please bear in mind that each leather satchel is a totally natural product therefore the colours and the finish can vary from one piece to the next. Each has a unique antique leather / lightly distressed vintage leather look. Parts from several hides may be used to make a single Scaramanga leather bag. So there may be some variation in colour and the textures to the different parts of a bag, which will create a wonderfully unique effect. There may be significant variances in texture and shading, which is individual to each bag. Natural lines and marks in the leather are left fully exposed. There may also be visible creases in the leather. These features go to show the genuine origin of our leather satchels and messengers bags, they form part of the bag and not affect its durability. Our leather bags are handmade and your new leather bag may be subject to natural variation in its size. All this simply enhances the unique appearance of your bag and adds extra character.
