Product Information for Old Travel Trunk S104

SOLD   Vintage brown travel trunk with protective wooden batons and edging (top trunk in main image). The lid lifts to reveal the main compartment. The name initials C and C have been embossed onto the top of the trunk. Trunks like these make great stylish storage features in retro themed rooms. This old trunk shows signs of wear. One of the straps has been broken and does not fasten around the body of the trunk.

Our chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian merchants would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
