Product Information for Old Metal Cash Tin 200

SOLD  Hand painted old metal cash box. This old merchant's money box has several compartments and removeable trays. The lid opens to reveal a removeable upper level with several small compartments and a larger lower level. This unique box would make a perfect jewellery box.

Merchants or shopkeepers would have originally used these authentic cash boxes and money boxes for keeping cash, valuables, notes and records. Each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments they contain

We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our antique wooden boxes and moneyboxes.
