Product Information for Vintage Wooden Box 834

SOLD   Vintage wooden box with lots of different sized compartments. This old box makes a perfect jewellery box or keepsake box. A small tray lifts to reveal a large lower compartment.  The box has a small handle and a hasp and staple.

Indian merchants or shopkeepers would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping cash, valuables, notes and records. Each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments they contain

We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our antique wooden boxes and moneyboxes.

Due their size / weight we are unable to accept orders for wooden boxes outside the UK.

They may have small marks and scratches on them, which are consistent with their age and original use. We feel these add to their character and appeal.
