Product Information for Vintage Turquoise Stationery Chest 519

SOLD Vintage turquiose and green rosewood stationery box. The chest would have originally been made and initially used with its rich natural solid rosewood finish. At sometime its owners would have painted it green and then turquoise. Over time the paint has faded to reveal some of the green paint and then the original rosewood. The chest has seven small compartments including two in a removable tray.
Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.

These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory boxes or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian merchants would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping pens, money, valuables, notes and records.

We also have antique brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
