Product Information for Vintage Teak Chest 732

SOLD Vintage teak wooden trunk with thick recessed brass strapping and heavy hasp and staple. The trunk consists of a small side compartment in the upper level and a large main compartment. The trunk has been constructed from thick teak using a traditional dovetail method.
 
Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
