Product Information for Victorian Pine Trunk 2727

SOLD Victorian pine storage trunk. This large chest has been hand stripped by one of our expert craftsmen and returned to its former glory. They removed seven layers of paint. The interior is made up of a small candle box and two small drawers and a large main compartment. Its broard panel construction gives it a simple traditional style.
The chest would have been used to store blankets, bed linen, candles and personal possessions.
 
Our old wooden chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
This distinctive old chests would make a stunning feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.
