Product Information for Teak Wooden Chest 977

SOLD   Old  teak wooden trunk with bun feet and a series of secret compartments. To the left of the large main compartment is a small upper compartment. By lifting a series of panels in a set pattern three secret compartments are revealed. This a very unusual chest and is the only example we have seen. 
 
Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
