SOLD Large old wooden kist (blanket chest) with thick heavy hasp. The lid opens to reveal a large main compartment with a small compartment in the upper part of the kist.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
This distinctive old chests would make a stunning feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study, the large main compartment is ideal for storing blankets and linen..

Indian families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
