Product Information for Old Wooden Green Chest 1124

SOLD  Large old faded green wooden chest.  The lid lifts to reveal the top level with several compartments of varying sizes and a large lower level compartment.
The chest would have originally been made and initially used with a natural wooden finish. At sometime its owners would have painted it green. Over time the paint has faded to reveal some of the original wood.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
Indian merchants and families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping stationery, valuables, heirlooms, notes and records.

We also have antique brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
