Product Information for Old Wooden Coffer 794

SOLD  Original old wooden coffer with an inlaid brass front panel and a beautiful hand carved interior, a small front drawer, handles, bindings, facings, and edgings.
The lid lifts to reveal the top level with eight compartments of varying sizes with carved flower lids. The inside of the lid has a rack running the length of the chest with additinal decorative finishing and a small mirror.
Under the two trays is the lower level comprising a single large compartment taking up most of the area of the trunk.

Our hardwood coffers chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old coffers would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian families would have originally used these authentic old wooden coffers and chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.

There is a delivery charge of £50 to most parts of the UK. Despatch is usually two working days after order is placed.
