Product Information for Old Scumbled Chest 2704

SOLD  Old scumbled pine chest with an orange top panel and castor wheels. The interior is made up of a small candle box and two small drawers and a large main compartment. Its board panel construction gives it a simple traditional style.
The chest would have been used to store blankets, bed linen, candles and personal possessions. We believe that the chest is Victorian. The bottom panels have been replaced with newer pine planks. The scumbled sides give the chest a real vintage charm.

Our old wooden chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
This distinctive old chests would make a great coffee table.

We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
