SOLD Original large baby blue old wooden chest with a stunningly beautiful hand carved interior.
The lid lifts to reveal the top level with seven compartments, including two removable trays.
On the inside of the lid is a rack running the width of the chest.
Under the tray is the lower level comprising a single large compartment taking up most of the area of the trunk.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
Indian merchants and families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, heirlooms, notes and records.

We also have antique brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
