SOLD  Large old blanket chest with iron edging bands and a faded turquoise finish.  wooden Indian wedding chest with an inlaid brass front panel and a beautiful hand carved interior, brass handles, bindings, facings, and edgings. There are remains of blue paint on some of the corners and brass edging.
The lid lifts to reveal a single large storage area.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
