SOLD Unusual fine old rosewood military campaign style desk / field organsiser. We are unsure of this chest's exact origins. However, it was intended to be used as a portable organiser. It has a fine set of rosewood drawers on the left handside each with recessed brass handles. On the right handside are four pidgeon holes, a document compartment and a wide lower drawer.
This chest has a pastel green distressed front. There are pair of recessed side handles and brass edging and corners.
Our old wooden chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
This distinctive old chests would make a stunning feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.
