SOLD Vintage blue wooden box with money slot. This old box makes a perfect memory box or small storage box. Ideal for keeping your valuables safe. The box has a beautiful authentic distressed blue. The box would have originally  been unpainted a previous owner painted it blue and over time the paint has faded. The box has ttwo small side handles and a hasp and staple.

Indian merchants or shopkeepers would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping cash, valuables, notes and records. Each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments they contain

We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our antique wooden boxes and moneyboxes.
