SOLD Beautiful old wooden stationery chest with inlain brass decorations and heart shaped escutcheon. The lid lifts to reveal a top level with various compartments, picture frame and letter rack and a larger lower compartment.
 
Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory boxes or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian merchants would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
