Product Information for Antique Wooden Chest 712

SOLD Antique dark wooden chest with a beautiful hand carved interior. Each compartment has a different carving including animals, fruit, fish and flowers.
The inside of the lid has a rack running the length of the chest.
Under the two trays is the lower level comprising a single large compartment taking up most of the area of the trunk.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.
We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
