SOLD Unusual antique pine tool chest. with inlain mahogany. This is a classic example of an old workman's tool chest. Boxes like these would have been used by a craftsman such as carpenters for storing and carrying their tools of their trade: saws, plains, hammers, chisels ... This tool chest has been hand stripped and waxed. The lid opens to reveal two long upper removeable compartments made from mahogany. below these is a large main compartment. Supplied with a working lock.
