Old wooden stationery chest with various small compartments, including a secret compartment and several in a removable tray.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
Indian merchants and families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping stationery, valuables, heirlooms, notes and records.

We also have optional antique brass padlocks available.

Due their size / weight we are unable to accept orders for chests outside the UK.

Despatch is usually three  working days after order is placed.

Note: Our chests are not new or made to look old. They may have small marks and scratches on them, which are consistent with their age and original use.
