Product Information for Vintage Red Wooden Chest S115

Original vintage red chest with thick brass banded edging, cartouche and brass handles.

Chest comprises a five small compartments in the upper level and single large lower compartment.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Indian merchants would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, notes and records.

We also have antique and new brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
