SOLD Old wooden chest with handles and brass edging . The lid lifts to reveal a small compartment with lid and a large lower level taking up most of the area of the trunk.

Our hardwood chests aOur hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
Indian merchants and families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, heirlooms, notes and records.

We also have antique brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
