Product Information for Old Wooden Box 252

SOLD Old wooden box with six compartments and a decorative brass hasp. The lid lifts to reveal a top level with five compartments, including one with a lid.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory boxes or a great place to put your valuables.

Indian merchants would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping stationery, money, valuables, notes and records.

We also have antique brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.

Note: The box surface has an uneven colour finish. Our chests are not new or made to look old. They may have small marks and scratches on them, which are consistent with their age and original use.
