SOLD A genuine hand engraved Shekawati vintage wooden chest with decorative brass banded edges. Main compartment accessed through hinged lid on the top of the trunk.

Our hardwood chests and trunks are unusual and each differs in size, style, finish and the number of compartments inside them.
These distinctive old chests would make beautiful jewellery or memory box or a great place to put your valuables.
They would make a great feature in a living room, bedroom or in a study.

Rajasthani families would have originally used these authentic old wooden trunks during wedding ceremonies.

We also have antique brass padlocks available to complement our old wooden chests and trunks.
