Product Information for Antique Gledhill Till 2857

SOLD Old wooden patent cash till made by  G H Gledhill and Sons Ltd of Halifax.

This is an unusual handmade mahogany shopkeeper's till from the early part of the 20th century.
There is still a roll of till paper and the original bell which chimes everytime the bxo is opened and closed.

With its chunky brass pull handle and compartments this classic box would make an unusal jewellery box or money box.

Striking old wooden trunk. The lid lifts to reveal a top level with seven compartments of varying sizes with carved flower lids. Below the trays is a single compartment.
