Antique wooden chest with an intricately hand carved interior. Brass edging and star shaped keyhole. The lid lifts to reveal the top level with eight compartments of varying sizes with carved lids.
Under the removable tray is the lower level comprising a single large compartment taking up most of the area of the trunk.

Indian merchants and families would have originally used these authentic old wooden chests for keeping money, valuables, heirlooms, notes and records.
