Product Information for Vintage Iron Safe 2

SOLD  Vintage black iron safe. Very solid heavy piece. Looking for something different for your home? Or are you looking for some where to stash your piles of cash and jewels?

The safe has a good lock with it's original key and brass escutcheon. This is quite heavy and would make good secure storage for less valuable things.

The gold plate on the front shows the safe's unique reference number and the maker: Milner and Sons, Liverpool. The safe would have originally been used for storing valuable documents

Patented on the 26th Feb 1840 this is a double skin Milners patent double chamber fire box.

Comes complete with working key.
