Beautiful old coloured tikka pot. These unusual brightly coloured vintage pots are authentic old pots from India.
They would have been filled with a coloured tikka powder, usually red. Many still contain traces of red, orange and pink tikka powder. 
 Tikka is the spot where Indian Hindus place a smudge, dot or line on the forehead. It is often used to greet visitors to a home and auspicious occasions. Tikka pot size: 8cm x 10 (3" x 4") Note: These are original Indian tikka pots. They are not new or made to look old. They will have small marks and some variation in colour, which are consistent with their age and original use. We feel these add to their character and appeal.
