With its ingenious scissor action the bed extends to a a generous six feet.
Covered with super-strong canvas. the legs are Canvas in good condition
When not is use it folds into a small cabinet (with a small storage internal storage area) that could double as a small side table, there is a small storage area

Fully cleaned and waxed prior to delivery, legs all solid, no repairs

Campaign bed size:

During the 19th century the British Army fought campaigns all over the world.
Everything they needed and used had to be transported by horse or carts and a whole range of folding chairs, tables, wardrobes, desks, chests were developed to make life as comfortable as possible while being easily transportable.
Wider use of campaign beds came into use around the time of the 1st world war. It is unlikely that this one ever saw service. After WWI the manufacturers marketed the item for domestic use.
