SOLD Stylish 1960s Max Bohme dining table with with unusual lowering mechanism.
Constructed from a combination of solid beech and formica and designed in an iconic 50s smoothe and curved edge style with tapering legs. The legs can be raised and lowered by 15cm winding the metal handle at the end of the table.
The extension action is 'drawer leaf', that is, the extension panels are stored beneath the main top panel and are drawn out using a finger grip beneath.
This table carries several long stratches and surface marks to the top, but is solid of joint. The extension panels are of a darker colour than the main top panel.
Retro Max Bohme dining table size: length fully extended: 117cm (47"), width: 75cm (29.5"), height: 76cm (29.5") - delivery is £50 to most of the UK.
