SOLD   Dark wooden Indian Damchiya (hope chest) with intracately carved beautiful features. Damchiyas typically feature carved animal heads and small inlain mirrors and metal work. These console tables/sideboards, from North-West India, were used for storing clothes and other valuables. A lovely Damchiya allows you to create a feature in a narrow space as well as looking great. Each piece is different, but they all have a handy storage area for bedroom, hallway or living room stuff. Complement it with an old wooden bowl, small box or candleholder from our home accents range.
